McKenzie Tamala.
We are now giving support to Sheryl & her daughter McKenzie Tamala.

McKenzie has a very devastating form of Dystonia ~ Generalized Dystonia ~ this is where the disorder effects her entire body.

They are also in a very desperate need of a bigger sized disability van...

The two girls at the centre of all this, are dearly deserving, and they’ve for sure had a tragic run thrown at them through life, currently finding themselves facing another hurdle they absolutely do not need - but one that by banding community together, we can definitely help them with.

McKenzie, 11 years old, was diagnosed at a very young age with Generalized Dystonia (Generalized meaning full body). And for McKenzie’s particular case, she's one of only about 60 in the world to be diagnosed due to a very rare gene GNA01.

This condition is bad. It’s very bad.

And that is, as community and friends of Jason’s have seen what he’s been through with his Focal Dystonia (focal meaning confined to one muscle group), a mammoth understatement...

McKenzie being 11 now, she’s also a growing girl, she’s finally out grown their van that they’ve had for ten years now..
McKenzie, due to her severe condition, is also confined to a wheelchair.

They’re in desperate NEED of a new disability van.

Everything is explained in the video above, but this disability van is absolutely crucial to every aspect of their already struggling lives - this van is non-negotiable!

The tragic thing is. We can’t help McKenzie with her current suffering physical state. Though this is something we hope to gain awareness and research for, to one day finally encounter a cure.. or at the very least, better management and relieving treatments.

But for now, WE CAN help them with buying this van. Absolutely.

It is, the least we can do for them.

The bottom line right now, is that they need to see individual action from all of us.

First and foremost we just need to get those donations rolling in big and small..
It’s not the dollar amount that matters, IT’S THE AMOUNT OF US taking the minute to share the dollar that matters.

We can help them with this. All we need to do is band together, by taking our own, small but generous, individual action.

LET'S TURN THIS AROUND FOR THEM..!

DONATION options are located on this page, and also on the “DONATE” tab up top of this page.

TDC relies on community donations to help provide this support.

Please show them some love by chipping in what you can.
